I'm not sure the 'problem' is with Toshiba's ConfigFree. I have a Acer Win 7 Home Laptop and get that message intermittently. Not for ConfigFree, of course but others like TheSkyX. I also get it on my Win 7 Pro Desktop, usually when I have just closed PixInsight. It pops up telling me that PI has stopped working (I just closed it!  ) and gives me the options shown by PeterM.
