Nebulosity you pay for it, whereas PHD is free or donation, but is Nebulosity better than PHD? And by better I mean, is it easier to use for deep sky capture?

i can only comment on phd which i think is fantastic
no problems with using it whatsoever and i will donate some monies to the owner

PHD is for guiding, Nebulosity is for image aquisition and processing.

Nebulosity doesnt do guiding. They are both written by the same guy.

What Trev says. Also Nebulosity and PHD talk to each other so they can automate dithering.

Been using both since astro imaging. They work well together. Latest version supports multiple instances/cameras.

+1 - very good software packages - intuitive interfaces and haven't found any bugs at all.
