Hi folks
probably one of the most difficult images I have had to process. This object has barely no OIII, no green, huge blue (being a reflection nebula) and of course heaps of red, Ha and SII.

I think I have scratched this a dozen times until I got to this version, which actually I really like.

This was taken from Heaven's Mirror and many of the frames acquired under a bright moon - gotta love narrowband.

With the OIII being so weak, but the blue really strong, I got heaps of blue data and blended it ever so slightly with the OIII in order to enhance the reflection nebula. Anyway, let me know what you think.

Its a SII, Ha, OIII, OIII(+Blue) image consisting of 8:9.5:9.5:6.5 hours for a total of 33.5 hours.

Gorgeous blues, I really like them along with the clouds of dust below. They are quite muted and it works very well together with the blue.

Great image. Thanks

You really are the master of this sort of processing. Love the golden hues and the contrasts that show the layered aspect of the nebulas.

Very Hubblesque.

Well you never fail to just blow me away with your images Martin and from the comments I can see there are quite a few others picking themselves up off the floor after looking at this.

It's the kind of image that puts you out there and you find yourself flying through those spectacular dust clouds as it has so much 3D effective depth you just can't help it.

Thanks very much for sharing.
