I've put together a very quick "first look" time lapse from the GoPro camera I had running during the recent eclipse. The video can be seen at:
https://vimeo.com/53767174
It is straight out of the camera with zero post-processing. When time permits, I will try and improve it.
The GoPro was shooting in time lapse mode with a 1 second interval. This version of the video is 18 seconds long (running at 30 fps), and therefore spans around 9 minutes of real time.

:) Beautiful work.
We had a GoPro or two going as well. Looking forward to Chris processing what he captured. :)

Thanks everyone. Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze out a lot more detail from these shots with a bit of clever post-processing. I'll also post the full sequence - from sunrise to 4th contact.

Its already been said, but I have to say it... That's so cool
Its the best movie I've seen in awhile ;)
you should send that to GoPro. They typically run a "video of the week" out to the world.

Great stuff Geoff!
Andrew Murrell had one setup on top of the car where we were during the eclipse
and so I am looking forward to seeing what it captured when Andrew gets back
from up north..
