Hi,

Always liked the pics fellow imagers are getting with the ED 80'S, so I bit the bullet and purchased one from BINTEL plus an orion field flattener.

Impressive little beasties!!

This image of the horse head is full frame, Unmodded canon 1100D, 8 and 15 minute subs at ISO800, only 62 minutes of data though. High level cloud moved in and started to bloat the stars. See single sub.

Can't wait to try the ED80 on globulars and star clusters.

Cheers,

Justin.

Thats very nice, Justin! I just bought an 1100D myself, to use with my Stellarview Nitehawk 80mm f7-looking forward to trying it out.

Thanks Laurie!

You won't regret buying the 1100D, great camera. I'm just in the throws of purchasing another which is going to be modified with cold finger cooling, when I can find someone to do it.

Cheers,

Justin.

Nice shots Justin.

The ED80 is a great, portable telescope.

You will get some great photos with it and it's so easy to set up and use.

Those are nice images.

Particularly pleasing for me, since I have an ED80 (that I've yet to use for imaging) and will hopefully be getting my first DSLR for Christmas.

I'm looking forward to "having a go", and if I can get close to what you've achieved, I'll be well pleased.

Thanks for that!

The ED80 certainly seems to be astandard tool for AP.

Thanks Ross!

I do like the ease of setup with the ED80.

Cheers,

Justin.
