Looking for a strong camera tripod to use with a Stellarvue M1 mount and 80mm scope. I currently have a Stellarvue surveyor's tripod that is very solid but not very compact for travelling, and it can't be used as a camera tripod.
Rated capacity of the camera tripod should be at least 10kg. It also needs to be a model with a center leg brace.
I'm most familiar with Manfrotto tripods, and models I'm aware of that fulfil the above criteria are 028, 475, etc. [Note that I have the Manfrotto 055 model already and it's woefully inadequate for my scope].
There's no rush for this. Condition not important as long as it's fully functional.
Thanks
Morton
