Loving seeing the photos of the eclipse posted here! Thought I'd add mine into the mix too... I shot it from near Christchurch, New Zealand. That was about at its peak, since I'm so far south.

Taken with a 5D Mark II + Meade 8" LX200 telescope (2000mm focal length) and a home-made solar filter (using Baader Solar Film) at ISO 500, 1/4000th of a second.

How much of the Sun was covered at mid eclipse?

Thanks! I'm so glad it was clear skies for me to capture that. It was a huge mission for me to avoid snow to capture the venus transit earlier this year.

Somewhere roughly around 2/3 I believe, or a little under that.
