Just got my Logitech Fusion webcam modded and took it out for a test in the sun.
Got the Sun at prime focus (telescope using solar filter) but it just comes out as a big bright blob. I recorded 20 secs of video and near the end a black dot starts to appear in the middle of the Sun. Telescope has got tracking and all.
Can anyone help me on how to use a modded webcam for the Sun?
I won't be able to go out and test again as I won't be home therefore when I wake up tomorrow early I am hoping I can punch in some settings and I will get a better result.
I am assuming its harder to get something good from the Sun since it is so bright and hoping a modded webcam would be better suited for the Moon and Planets which hopefully I can test soon.
