This object is the Cave nebula in Cepheus and is by all accounts very, very faint. A deep H alpha such as this one brings out a lot of structure though.

Very nice, Steve! Are you going to do any more on this target?

Thanks Rick. At this stage I don't know if I'm going to be doing colour on this one. The eclipse is going to disrupt me for a week or two and I have some others that I want to do first anyway.
Thanks Laurie

Nicely done Steve. The image shows some great detail.
What problems are you having with your scope/mount here?
cheers

Thanks Martin. My scope/mount problems are largely fixed and were largely self inflicted. One was fixed by just replacing the Gemini 2 CMOS battery. I should be back to imaging with the RCOS when I return from the eclipse cruise.

A new object for me Steve.
The detail is amazing.
Thanks.
Ross.
