12" Dobsonian read for good sky

Brian Nordstrom jumped in and helped me with bearing material, my mount has beautifully smooth teflon bearings. Thankyou Brian. :D

The base swivel bearing is a cheap teflon coated frypan cut into 3 pads running on laminex, interesting to see how long it lasts.
Oh, and the clouds are thick!!

Are you going to scribe setting circles onto the base?

I try without using the phone as a locator, if not sucessful then it is back to a compass & circles.
