G'day
I watched it, it was quite interesting.
For those who may have missed it you can watch it online at SBS, or if you have a IPad, IPod or IPhone you can download the SBS On Demand App and watch it through that like I did.
Just use the search option and type in the program's name.

Missed the show last night so thanks for the link.
I can guess the footage now though, one hour of black screen followed by a spark at the end

watching now :)
Very nicely made, but a few observations.
1. Many, if not most, of the alternative theories, hypotheses and conjectures were presented as being new and revolutionary, when in fact they've been discussed for a very long time. Decades, in fact. They often aren't as anathema to established ideas and scientists as was implied.
2. The suggestion seemed to be that the Big Bang is a radical concept, barely supported by any fact, if any, when the truth is that almost every piece of evidence we have, every observation so far made, just about any experiment you'd care to imagine and perform, and, yes, the theory, indicates it is entirely valid. Unlike most of the alternatives proferred as "making more sense".
3. Trivial; The esteemed Dr. Mesini-Houghton benefited from flattering video and camera filters and effects that were completely absent whenever her male colleagues appeared. How odd. :D :P
It was an entertaining show overall.

Well, finally managed to sit down and watch it. No real satisfactory final answers and just more questions really. But what did you expect? I guess there is a Nobel prize waiting for anyone who comes up with a good answer.
I do want to get one of those puzzles they were all playing with :P
