View Full Version here: : 12mm Nagler
Hi everyone. Just got home from the hospital yesterday after a minor operation. After laying in bed for a while l was flicking through eBay to find a brand new 12mm T4 Nagler for $250. It's from the US. Postage was only $15 so the total being $265 l couldn't pass it up. Bintel are selling these for $359 plus postage. What are people's reviews on the 12mm. I've noticed a lot of people have the 13mm over the 12mm. One of the reasons l bought it was l mainly use 2inch eyepieces now so the idea of not changing over the 1.25 adapter really appealed to me.
Now the hard part. To tell the better half what I've done. Again......
Cheers Curt.

Hi Curt,
The 12mm Nagler is a very good eyepiece. You will be very happy with it. It is easy to use, has long eye relief, is very comfortable and gives excellent views. The reason people sometimes choose the 13mm Nagler T6 over the 12mm Nagler T4 is because it is much smaller and lighter and has marginally better EOF performance. I prefer the 12mm Nagler T4 and in fact have 2 of them :D
Cheers,
John B
Thanks JohnThey must be good eyepieces if you have two, but I'm assuming you have binos. I can't wait to try it out and compare them. I was leaning towards getting a full set of ES mainly due to there reviews and the price. I'll try the naglers out and see how they go. I have a funny feeling that eyepiece fever might be kicking in again.
Cheers Curt.
