Howdy all. I'd like to take my astro photography up a notch. Much as I love short exposure wide fields,I get a little frustrated at being unable to use the bigger lens for a little longer. The old barndoor doesn't cut it when I have the 300mm lens on. I have heard a lot of good things here about the polarie and think that may the best lower cost option. My alt-az mount wouldn't be much chop and over here eq5 mounts are ridiculous cost wise. I doubt I'd find a polarie anywhere in nz and was wondering if you guys know of any astro shops that ship to nz. Cheers.

I got one from them also and they are great to deal with and the Polarie is fantastic. I've only had one good chance so far to give it a quick go, but from what I have seen I am mightily impressed!
