Hey guys,

After finally selling my 8" setup, I have my trusty EQ5 drive motors left to sell. These are dual axis motors, meaning it will motorise both your RA & DEC axis :D With the RA drive engaged, the mount will rotate at the same speed as the stars so you don't need to keep nudging your scope to keep the object in view. The hand controller comes with directional buttons too, so whilst viewing you can nudge your scope in any direction with just a press of a button. Its really good for planetary viewing, where touchingg your scope makes the whole thing vibrate ;)

I've also modified the hand controller to accept ST4 commands, meaning you can also guide your telescope via laptop to do astrophotography. Attached are images of what it looks like when mounted to the telescope. It is exactly whats here for sale:

If you would like to see what sort of images you can get using these as your motors, check out my old ad (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?p=900868#post900868) . This is a really good way to start astrophotography without spending $$$ on something a HEQ5 Pro or a NEQ6 :)

It is a skywatcher branded product, but will work on most EQ5 mounts (Skywatcher, Celestron, Vixen, Meade etc. Best to check beforehand though ).

I think $165 + Postage is a reasonable price, PM if interested! :thanx:
