Hi All
I grabbed some H-Alpha data yesterday morning and this image was processed from the best avi data file in my session.
Taken with Lunt LS80, 5x barlow giving approx 2800mm FL, DMK41 thanks.

Beautiful Ted. Very nice processing. This spot was still nice looking today. I got it with some nice little spots next to it like you did albeit at a lower res. Mosaic to come. I really like the depth.

Thanks Matt, I am very happy with the combo. :)
Thanks Mike.
Thanks Larry, agree that depth is there although I think it is stronger on the mono version.
Thanks Paul, yes there were plenty of features there throughout the day. Look forward to the mosaic!
Thank you!

Nice clear picture Ted,
Can someone explain what is that black hole ?

Thanks David. Known as sunspots and are darker in colour because the region is relatively cooler than its surroundings by about 1000 degrees C. They form around intense areas of magnetic activity.
