Howdy
Last week I took some pics of M42, was keen to get a shot of it with both realuminised mirror and uv/ir filter in place.
2x500 sec ISO 200, masked with 2x30 sec. ISO 200 masked in photoshop cs
a dark was subtracted from the 500sec shots, not necessary with the 30 second shots. I couldnt be bothered with flats so decided to try Vignetting remover here

As I get a fairly even vignette I might keep using this rather then do flats, as with my off axis guider, when I rotate the assembly to locate a guidestar the camera rotates too, necessitating flats each time, addding to the data download and images stored on my pc, whereas this is easier, also I dont have a whizz bang flat field light source as yet, have been illuminating the white garage wall with a fluro light, which is a pain to do when Im nice and dark adapted each time I take a pic of a new object.
