I have a JMI NGF 3 mini focuser (low profile) (1.25 inch crayford) - that I am not using and probably never will. I have never used it and it has never been attached to an OTA. I originally purchased it to go on an a 8 inch scope I was making but got the cranks with it all and just bought a 8 inch skywatcher instead. http://southcelestialpole.org/scpBB/images/smiles/rolleyes.gif I bought it from Bintel about 4 years ago. They are currently on their website for $230. It is still in the original box and I am sure I can find the original reciept. Can provide pictures etc...

There is the smallest ding on the draw tube (you can only see it if you look really carefully) it doesn't affect performance at all. I don't know how it got there like I said it has never been on a scope - I just noticed it the other day when I got it out to have a look. The only thing I can think of is it was there when I got it as I didn't open the box until relatively recently.

Anyway the highest mag eyepiece I have got is 10mm, so I would be willing to trade it for a comparable barlow or a 5mm EP. An ortho would cool. Open to offers..

Thanks

Dan

I might be interested ..... but need to see if it will fit the scope that I have.

Can you tell me the greatest height from base to top of tube fully extended, and also what the tube travel range is ?

Hi Starkler,

It is the standard model and all the information your require can be found on the JMI website. But I will find out and get back to you anyway. As far as I am aware, it has the 3 inch drawtube (standard) althought I will measure it tonight.

As far as the ding goes. It is actually an indent on the top outside lip of the drawtube and is nowhere near the EP. I must be only about 0.5mm or less. I looks like it has been knocked on something with an edge. It is purely cosmetic. I guess that the drawtube could be turned around if it really bothered someone.

Is the focusser still available?
