I was checking the Jupiter Moon Events section of Astronomy 2006 and did you know that there are 3 double shadow transits in the month of August.
Io and Europa are involved in all of them.
August 14th - egress 6.20pm and 7.10pm
" " 21st - ingress 6.24pm and 6.57pm
" " 28th - ingress 8.51pm and 9.02pm
I know it's 3 months away, but I can't wait.:D
Here's hoping for clear skies for at least one of those nights.

Thanks for the heads-up! Jupiter will be well and truly in the west in August.. I'm not likely to get many chances soon..

I won't be able to catch the one on the 28th unless I can move mountains.
