NGC 247 and her rich background

Dear all, below is the link to my image of NGC 247, is a dwarf spiral galaxy in Cetus, member (together with NGC 253 which has almost the same apparent size ) of the Sculptor Group.

This is a HaLRGB composition even if the Ha contribution was pretty marginal. Despite the little resolution of the galaxy itself due to my relatively short FL, what is nice to me is the rich background which features a multitude of other galaxies, located a lot farther than NGC 247. Glittering light is a great way to describe the lovely processing. I like the richness of the black and the sparkle you get in the stars and the galaxy - really very nice indeed. Jewels on velvet. :thumbsup:

Marco, that is, put simply, the best galactic photo I have seen here. A winner indeed! SO deep, almost 3 dimensional feel to it.
