Coronado SolarMax II 90 DS (BF15)
Solar telescope, Coronado SolarMax II 90 DS (BF15). Used but excellent condition. Complete with original hard cases and packing for main scope and additional 90mm etalon.
Comes with coronado 25mm eyepiece and 2x solar barlow but NOT the other 18 and 12mm coronado eyepieces that normally ship with this scope (Though these are available for about $70 from various outlets and of course any quality eyepieces work fine in this scope). The scope's clamshell has an extra 4 neat and professionally drilled and tapped m4 holes to support a solar shade but other than that is exactly as factory new.
Ships with the original coronado metal screw in lens caps but I loathe these because they're difficult and dangerous to get on and off (there's the potential bash the etalon in the process) So also has a nice brass slip on lens cap that's felt padded to ensure this can never happen
Really excellent solar scope viewing most welcome in Canberra - also happy to ship within Australia at modest cost. More info/photos cheerfully provided on request :)
