I am trying a new to me solar/lunar/planetary camera, and the software I have used so far produces avi's but they stop at 2Gb. So a run with say 2000 frames will have a 2gb + 2gb + 400mb file. As far as I can tell this is the way it is, certainly from the camera tech support people anyway.
Any way I can stitch them together into one avi, and then load that into Registax to process?
Back in the dark of my mind I recall VirtualDub, does this do it?
I'll also try a different capture software program as well.
Gary

Edit, just checked. It seems VirtualDub will do this. Still open to other suggestions though.

Check for options in the free software section of www.snapfiles.com (http://www.snapfiles.com)
Lot of good graphics handling ( and others ) on there and quite safe. Used it for years.

I was happy enough to find VirtualDub 6 or 7 years ago for this AVI combining you want to do, & I'm still using it for this purpose.

Cheers guys. I actually "spliced" the three files together and made a single avi. Wonderful.
