Hi all, after a couple weeks of absence from this forum I am eventually able to upload another image :) It is a galaxy not so often imaged, at least at a wider field, and I find it a very attractive target for my limited focal lenght :)

The Topsy-Turvy Galaxy NGC 1313 (http://www.glitteringlights.com/Images/deepsky/13667287_7Mtr58#!i=2149822914&k=bkfWgQn&lb=1&s=X3)

The deep exposure helped to reveal the faint diffuse nebulosity that permeate the field, a very nice feature in this area..
An HaLRGB composition, details on the page. As usual the full resolution view is recommended :)

I hope you will like it :)

Awesome Marco, although this galaxy is not a show stopper, it's always great to show a known object in a different light, great to look at, this one, Grazie

Great job & I like the either dust clouds or nebulosity that shows up.

Very nice.

Those 16803 cameras always seem to capture amazing images!

Not seen 1313 with a wide FOV before, and it sits really nicely in the cirrus you have picked up. Its a fine image, and that is the good part.

BUT - You have some seriously bad filter reflections going on - this is a Proline right?

cheers

Awesome image Marco, that is one seriously messy galaxy! A very interesting target for sure, good choice. Beautiful processing and great detail as usual, it's always a pleasure to view your images.

Lovely deep image of this very interesting looking galaxy. Love the galactic cirrus and the detail in the galaxy. Heaps of integration time too.

Thanks Paul, long integration time is the beauty to have a remote observatory :)

Thanks Leo!

Thanks Rolf

Thanks Martin. I know I have several (bad?) filter reflections, what does it make you thing these are due to the proline? I am interested in your opinion, I have already changed filters in the past (with AD I got even worse reflections) but I always believed that these problems were coming from the relative close distance between the filters/CCD to the field flattener (FF backfocus in TEC is only 85mm), I am (was) not aware of issues related to the Proline Vs. other cameras..

Thanks Nathan, having a large field of view with decent resolution is for sure an advantage..

Thanks Allan

Thanks to you too Graham :)

Thanks Peter, it would be great to see the same with your faster optics!

Thanks Marc
