I am looking for a scope to look at the moon, I did have a 50mm spotting scope which was cheap and good
Any suggestions

Any scope you can lay your hands on will give a good view of the moon. It's the easiest object in the sky.

Almost anything will do.
My first stop would be a 6-8" Newt or dob.
Cheap and nearly unbeatable for visual (IMHO).
If you want to have a bit more portability, a long focal length (f8+) achromat, will be almost as good as an expensive apo.
Something in the 4-5" range will show good detail without busting the bank.
