Some snaps of Copernicus and Eratosthenes and an attempt on Jupiter .Nice evening but haze on the horizon maybe suggested some of the smoke left from forest burnoffs around Perth degraded the seeing. But the moon looked great through low to moderate magnification and captured red jr ..well faintly anywhy :)

Lovely shot of Copernicus! Well done.
It looks like your joop was let down by seeing, otherwise you've done a great job and the colours look spot on to my eyes!

Love that Copernicus shot Stuart! Nice and crisp, and a lovely object. I never tire of Copernicus.

Thanks Mike, I tried RGB processing but the conventional way turned out better.First time ive used the ToUcam on the Moon and Im pretty happy with the result although its a bit dark owing to the trickiness of not overexposing the bright regions of the crater :)
Thanks Ken , Copernicus looked great through the eyepiece to

Thanks Stuart,
Its good to have a portion of moon to mix with our main course Jupiter.
I am sure we could be capturing more of our moon, plenty of diverse detail.

Nice stuff Stuart. :)
Well done Stuart.
Those pix show plenty of promise, considering you've only just started using the ToUcam...
I'd love to use one side-by-side with my NexImage just to compare. It's quite surprising I've never seen a ToUcam-Neximage shootout. I know they're meant to be just about the same, but opinion's divided on that. Might be able to settle the debate if someone put 'em to the test on the same night.
