Good to see an up and coming local site. There are plenty of sites offering information on astronomy out there but down under issues seem to miss the boat at times. Isn't it great to be a special case ;)

I'm certainly looking forward to some home baked discussions and problem solving. eg "Align you telescopes equitorial mount on Polaris." I wish! Don't get me wrong, there is great information and discussions on the "Up Top" sites, but I really think some of the "Down Under" humor gets lost in the translation.

Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul.

Welcome to the site! And I know what you mean, which is the reason I created this site and am trying to encourage more people to sign up and join in the discussions!

Hope to see you around more!

Yeah not many Northerners get our dry laconic wit. Nor do they understand our euphemisms. Crocadile dundee has helped a bit, but they still have a long way to go to understand us southerners.

Anyway welcome to the web site.
