I took my scope out the other night to a park close to me near south head in Sydney. My mate Jason came to help out and timelapsed us setting up, drift aligning and then taking some shots (lots of standing around).
Not the best quality but fun to see:

I liked that! I liked the change in view to under the telescope.

nice one. Roughly how many frames were used for this timelapse over how long?

Steve - it was 876 x 10sec exps taken over about 3 hours on a Canon 7D + 11-16mm Tokina

Very nice Hugh :thumbsup: I was thinking to myself about half way in, that right about now is when the clouds usually roll in with much shaking fists at the sky.

Thanks Greg, actually it just got better and better. I had to pack up around 1am as I had work in the morning but it was starting to look really nice by then.
