Love the picture.
Odd timing though, I even hear parts of the Adelaide hills and surrounds got a covering.

Gotta love Global Warming!
No doubt someone will claim this is because of the introduction of some sort of environmental levy or some such in the last few months....;)

Er no. Global warming has nothing to do with it. Last time snow fell in SA in October was 100 years ago. Nothing abnormal about it. I am sure if you check the records snow would have fallen in Goulburn in October before. :)

It was really cold in Queanbeyan last night. First time I had to turn the gas heater on since I moved from Canberra.
I've found it's generally colder in Queanbeyan than in Canberra. Not sure what the deal is, but, I don't mind; I prefer the cold.
The cat absolutely loved being parked in front of the warmth. She didn't budge. :D
Saw the snow on the Brindabella's this morning as I drove in to work over Red Hill. Looked pretty. :)

:) Crazy weather.
I'm loving all the snow photos, keep on posting them.
Hi all
Here's some more snow pictures from yesterday.
It was a pretty surreal sight at my place, I thought the veges were history burried under the snow but they all survived happily.
These photos were taken after sunrise but before the sun rises over the hill behind the dam.
One handy result was that all the snow on the roof resulted in an extra 8% water in the tank, back up to 75% at the moment.
Cheers :)

Agree! Great images!
Now if those clouds could part we needn't worry too much about imaging equipment overheating :)
Amazing stuff indeed, and ta for piccies.
Was pretty chilly here this morning too, had to race and close all the windows with the southerlies roaring through!! Ah, the temp had dropped to 21 dg.
