My second night of AP. This time took photos as RAW files instead of JPEG. Canon 60D on a 127ED with NEQ6 mount. Took 10 lights of 6231 and 5 darks. ISO1600 for 25 secs. RAWs looked really good, then:
Used DSS to stack, but got this result. It is only the left side of the photo, about 80% is missing. Used preferred settings in DSS, did not change any from previous use.
What am I doing wrong?

Hey Rod,

I had (past tense) the same problem.

Per jjjnettie's words in the following thread ...http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=94546

You need to download Deep Sky Stacker 3.3.3 beta 47 and all your wildest dreams will come true. :)

You've got to have the latest version 3.3.3 47

There's a bit of difference if you have a 32 bit computer

or a 64 bit. But when it shows those vertical images, its

not got the latest version and a problem with DSLR, you might

need Win RAR a certain program too to run it. My local computer

tech company helped me set it up and now it (DSS) runs with no problems

Hi Rod,
I'm sure it's not this but have you stretched the levels in PS or something after getting it out of DSS?
My images always look very flat straight out of DSS and need heaps of levels/curves work in lightroom afterwards.
The first of the images attached is straight out of DSS (exported from lightroom) and the second is the same image processed in lighroom.

Had 3.3.2 loaded. Now running 3.3.3 beta 47. All works fine.
