Twin Pineapples

Been to Singapore for our 30th wedding anniversary (holiday trip paid for by our two boys as a present; finally got some ROI from them boys!!) in 2010 and took some night shots - here's one one showing the National Theatre which the locals nicknamed appropriately as the "Twin Pineapples" for a good reason

I hand-stitched 5 hand-held shots with my 5D mkII + 24-105L glass

When we were in Singapore a few weeks ago, a local told me they call them the "Durians", as they look like the smelly durian fruit that everyone there loves to eat!

Yep - that's right too! I'd forgotten about the "durians" nickname as that I'm sure came later; in the beginning when I was there about 6 years ago the "pineapples" in the local language was the always mentioned by the cabbies et al - well they're all tasty fruits anyway

Did you try the durians at all? It's supposed to be the "King of Fruits"!
