Well, after spending a total of 4 hours setting up, and associated issues like taking 30 minutes of the wrong part of the sky cause the finder scope had been knocked by a degree. (and lots of other stupid issues like not setting bulb.) i gave up on the original plan of getting some light on M20 as it'd dropped low in my lightsphere and the moon was rising.

So decided to grab a globular again as they arent too bad to process and a good test of guiding.

NGC6752 and a few tiny galaxys nearby it. Not totally happy with the processing so far though. But at least its something to say for an annoying night. :)

Love it. Been planning to do that soon as my guiding is up to par.

Nice work, Nick. It's always good to salvage something from a bad night!

Yeah good result considering the circumstances. I too was out doing a bit of imaging with the 250mm kit lens last night and early this morning. When i view the Antares and M4 images afterwards, i discovered 20 images had to be thrown away because the side of the pergola was in them. Then DSS left out a few, so from going from 50 x 35 sec images, i was left with a stacked image of 9 x 35 secs:lol:
it can only get better  ..... not to mention the processing
