Hi Octane
A stunning, most beautiful mosaic - well done. I clicked the http link and it appeared to open the same size image as when I clicked the thumbnail?
Thanks!

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the compliment.
I'll be sure to turn up to the next one, as long as it is a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night. I can always drive back to Canberra on Monday morning and go to work then.

Hi Dennis,
Thanks, mate.
As for the thumbnail linking to the full image, I did it so you guys would see the full image on its own page rather than a 150 KB compressed one.
I will probably go back to my previous posts and edit them so that they have thumbnails. I think a lot of people are hesitant to click on links when there are no thumbnail attachments -- they don't know what they're going to see. At least with the thumbnail they have some kind of expectation.

Humayun

Hi Andrew,
It took me what, only five hours or so to set up?
I would have loved to have gone the 3-minute per exposure route, but as you know, I hadn't drift aligned and the weather wouldn't permit many exposures.
Perhaps next time?

H, excellent composition....another fine effort which makes 5 hours of set-up seem entirely acceptable!

Hi Rod,
I'd love to say that the long time we spent in collimation contributed to this image, but unfortunately, it isn't the case.
I can't wait to get out again and do some deep stuff.

Humayun

Wow!!!!! Humayun,
That would have to be the most spectacular photograph, by far, that I have ever seen. I reckon it eclipses the Hubble deep field easily, and that was awesome.
Worthy of publishing, and a Knighthood I reckon.
Let us see more of them please.
