Yep that's what they do at Underwater World. In fact I'm sure they take the public in there to for shark feeding.
No, the people aren't fed to the them  sounded a bit like that didn't it.
It looks a fun experience. :D Though I'll never know as I'm not allowed to scuba due to health reasons grrrr.

Hi-Ya' H,:)

Is that shark on his lap a Grey Nurse?
It is said that you don't see the shark that gets you.

Also sharks will indicate with fins upright and rigid before attack.

I leave the water before that happens. But then again I leave the water when I see a shark anyway.:eyepop:

I really liked the music in the video, too. The ending seemed to fit with what was going on in the video.

Quite inspiring!

Very appropriate music.
I think you can do that in the blue shark enclosure in Dubai.

That's very cool. Pretty daring though.A while ago I saw on a TV show this guy turning over a 3m tiger shark on its back on the side of his boat and the shark just froze. Apparently it throws their balance or something disconnects in their brain when turned this way. Food for thought if you're about to become lunch for a white pointer. Just grab him by the tail and twist. If you're quick enough...

Yep, I did that at Underwater World when I was 15 years old. I had my scuba ticket and saved up the $50 that it cost me. It was pretty cool to be diving with sharks, something that I will never forget. My guide picked up a shark tooth from the bottom of the tank and gave it to me as a souvenir.

That brings back memories, I used to work with ScubaWorld, Mooloolaba as a Dive Control Specialist and spent quite a few hours in the Underwater World shark tank taking photos up close and personal.
My Nikonos V flash still has some toothmarks from a curious shark.

Throughly recommend this experience for anyone visiting the Sunny Coast

My daughters 14th birthday present was a dive with sharks with me in the tank.
