HI all,
Received my new LX90ACF today but have a problem. When looking a the moon all I see is a blurry white object!
The adjustment tool does not seem to make much difference.
When I remove the eye piece I can see an almost clear moon in the 45 degree mirror.
Any ideas? Must be something simple.

not being funny have you tried the focus knob on the right - thats after you make sure that the focus lock is off - just to make sure read the manual so you know what knob is the one you need to use. you should be able to get focus. if you have a spanner in your hand that is not the adjustment tool ;)

Hi Chris.
I assume the adjustment tool you refer to is the focuser.
You might just have to turn it quite a way in either direction to get focus.
Turn it all the way in one direction then all the way in the other, if necessary, until the object comes into focus.
Don't confuse the focuser knob with the mirror lock knob.

Edit: As David says, reading the manual will make things a lot easier.

Thanks guys, all sorted now. I had read the manual :-) but did not realise how manny time I had to turn the focussing knob before it would focus. Much more complex than my 12" DOB.
So all working good and not Collimation issues. Even made my new Barlow 2x work. Need to get it out of my city back yard so I can see the align stars and get the goto set up.
Will have to wait until I go up to the shack on the river - no street lights!
Thanks for your prompt replies.
