Hello everyone!!

During my wanderings through Wellington in between meetings I spied the back of a monument and decided to make my way down to it (from the overpass I was crossing) to get a better look. As is the case in most places, I assumed that this would be a monument to the fallen heros who gave their all on those glorious fields of battle over the years. I guess, in a way, I was right....

Cheers,
Mario

Hi Mario,

They obviously see their sport in a warrior fashion. I have seen T-shirts on sale with: "I support NZ and any team that plays against Australia".

That is quite a monument. Qld has a bronze Wally Lewis statue.

Cheers

However, Wally's statue is out the front of Suncorp, not in the centre of town in a park!!

Is this why they win everything or because they win everything??

Sort of makes it look like us kiwis are all rugby heads.
I can assure you that it is not true ..... and if any of you doubt me I'll send Richie McCaw & Co over to deal with you ...

As you can see, NZ aims high.

Everything we do is supposedly going to finally "Put New Zealand on the map!"
