Hi all
Ive just provessed some more images from last nights first deep sky test of the new mirror coating.
Bug nebula is 2x5 mins ISO 400
Eightburst Nebula 2x5 mins ISO 200
He2-111 2x2 mins ISO 1600
Eta carina closeup 4x100 secs ISO 1600
NGC 3603 2x10 mins iso 400
As you can see ive tried several different iso settings, experimenting. Looking clear again tonight, I cant wait to catch more photons :)

I forgot to mention the jet stream was on so the seeing wasnt that good, transparency, however was quite good, nice and dark.
All images used the UHCS and Hutech UV/IR filter, on the Modded 350D camera
Also heres a shot of M83, also with the UHCS filter, which dims the starlight and enhances the nebulae embedded in M83's arms its 2x5 mins ISO 1600

Good stuff, Scott!
Happy hunting:)

Nice work again Scott.
Would love to see more exposures added to these to reduce the noise.

thanks all
I will plan to take more images of the one object to reduce noise, was keen to get as many different objects as possible in the testing phase of things. Tonight is not so good with high cloud and wind.

Very nice Scott. I love the bug! Looks like the new mirror coating will be worth it!
Be good to get some comparisons before & after with same camera settings.
Cheers
