Appropriate Post or Not?

Dear Moderators,

I was wanting to post a link to an "international Observe the Moon Night Event" but wasnt sure if it was appropriate, given its being run at a shop where they sell astronomy equipment.

I like the fact that we arent bombarded with ads in the form of blog posts etc on this website but also see this as an example of good community outreach to the community which should be promoted.

Please give me a steer on what is deemed appropriate or inappropriate in this space!
