Some photos with imager Meade DSI-1. The problem is Envisage 7.0.5 and Meade, it self. Up to now I didn't get sucess with its RAW files as Fits.
I reckon it will be better as guiding.
All with GSO 305 mm - DSI-1 - bmp files - DSS - Photoshop

Some interesting images Jorge. Your M8 image seems to be oversaturated in red though? I'm not sure that I understand your comment about FITS files - is there a problem creating FITS format from the Meade camera? From your processing workflow you seem to transfer them to DSS as bmp files, but I think that bmp files only support 8 bit colour channels? If so, then you may be losing precision here.

yes, David. There are many problems with Meade incompability.
Up to now i didn't get sucess working with mode RAW-Fts from Meade. Some people say that it is not a standart pattern of RAW file. For example: Envisage software save LRGB raw-fts files, but I didn't get sucess on stacking and on preserving the channels in DSS. Despite of using Meade-DSI selection on configuration tab for fts files. Nor debayer runs well in DSS or in Registax 6.
I didn't find any other software to control DSI. And Envisage is a poor one. It sounds like: "or you use me either you use nothing".
I can work with Fts files no Raw. But it demands more time, more difficulties, without more benefits than using bmp. Envisage pretend to be unique and complete. It captures, it processes and it delivers you the final result. Ready, and poor, to you publish it. In other words: Meade doesn't like and doesn't want that you use any other software.
The stacking task with Envisage 7.05 doesn't supports alignment, therefore any drift is a catastrophe ! You must use Meade imager with Meade telescope with Meade mind, and Meade any thing else !
But the imager DSI seems to work well as guider, because of its sensitivity. And I was able to put PHD working with it. Ok, I need start Envisage prior to the PHD, and stop Envisage to get the PHD working with it. But it works!
I forgot, Meade doesn't name DSI as camera. DSI is an IMAGER. The name CAMERA is ordinary, used by ordinary producers.
