Hmm, let’s see….how much space do you have on the IIS web server? Can’t play cricket, soccer, football or rugby. Useless at singing, surfing, soldering and star hopping. Haven’t a clue about web servers, running forums or splitting RGB channels, and I’d stand more of a chance baptizing a herd of cats than successfully changing the oil in our car.

Thanks to all who voted and to those who entered – my wife and I really enjoyed looking at the variety of bird life posted during the month.

In terms of favourites, I know I shouldn’t…. but…. I particularly liked the graceful composition of Beren’s Pelicans, the cheekiness of Sonia's bird(?), the incongruity of Dave’s pelican on a lamp post, the stunning colours in Octane’s peacock, Muddy’s personal collection of sulphur crested cockatoos and Astroman’s seagull strutting it’s stuff!

How about “Sunrise/Sunset” for the subject matter for May?

Cheers

Dennis

PS - Thank you Striker for mentioning the monthly comp when we dropped in to pick up the JMI – I’d somehow missed this on my daily forays to IIS.

Hi Sonia

Well done to you too for a superb image. Do you know what bird that is in your photo? My wife is keen to know, having spent some time in the UK.

We saw loads of Robins, Blue Tits, Blackbirds, Sparrows, Thrushes, etc in our back garden in Leeds, and heaps of different seabirds on the beautiful Farne Islands, Bass Rock, Skomer, etc. when we lived in the UK.

Cheers

Dennis
