tripod as featured here oberwerk wood tripod (http://www.bigbinoculars.com/obwtri.htm)-with 3/8" mount post but you can change to 5/8" or make your won -(the 3/8" thread is a bit rusty)
legs are a bit stiff to slidde in/out but i have not lubed in any way
sturdy tripod, weight rated at 35lbs -15kg, i dont have a plate for the leg spreader (pretty sure it didn't come with one)
$125, can delver to Melb.
i could post but it wont be cheap (i think it just fits under auspost 1.05M rule_at a guess it would be 30-40)
