Hi all,
Came across this rock formation on a neighbors hill. It is three granite boulders on top of each other (but hard to see the bottom one). Lit up during one of the exposures with my head lamp. Over 180 degree panorama.

Very nice Greg. I have a rock formation almost identical to that on my property. In fact the Milky Way mosaic I posted was using that rock but it wasn't lit up. Good idea.
Is this ISO 3200/ 30 secs F2.8?

Rock solid image that
If I may give an opinion though...The Milky Way looks awesome with great colour but I think the rock dominates the scene a bit too much and looks slightly out of place to me, maybe darken it in PS...of course may just be me :screwy:

Thanks Jeff :D Had a pretty good run of weather lately here.
Thank you very much Carlos :D
Thank you very much Mike :D Um.....15 or 16 vertical images from memory. Way overkill but like I have said before, it's better to be safe than sorry.
Thank you very much Greg :D Your pano actually made me remember about this rock formation. And yes ISO 3200, 30 seconds, F/2.8 and at 14mm focal length
"Rock solid" Thanks Mike :D It's a very valid opinion and I thank you for voicing it mate. I'll bear it in mind if I ever revisit this image.
Haha Pretty much  Thanks Steve.
Thank you very much Adam :D
