Hi all,

I've been out at Moogerah camping with the family for the last couple of nights, and took the opportunity to try some more Milky Way images with my new Tokina 11-16 lens. Here's the result of a quick processing of a few images. Conditions were fairly windy when these were taken, and there were some bushfires in the area, but I think these turned out OK. The last one shows the International Space Station passing across the galactic centre.

Thanks for looking!

Cheers,
Stephen

Very nice. You got a winner there with that lens.

Greg.

Great results Stephen. Funny with a crop sensor you still want wider though :) You might have to start some panoramas too ;)

Nice shots Stephen. I just picked up one of these lenses. Can't wait to take it to a dark site.

Sorry about the delay in replying guys - I've been sick for a few days...

Thanks Greg. I'm pretty happy with how it performs!

Thanks Mike. I know what you mean about wanting to go wider. Next time I might try a pano.

Thanks John. Enjoy the new lens!

Cheers,
Stephen
