G'day,

I am looking for two mono CCD's, I don't want to spend over $1000 for both and I don't care very much about resolution but the imaging ccd being an OK match for the F/10 LX200 would be good, TEC on the imaging ccd would be good or an easy way to diy a TEC later. I am not bothered about colour imaging right now.

I want to have the guider mono ccd on the st80 guiding through EQMOD pulse guiding (so no ST4 port required) and another mono ccd imaging with an Ha filter, with my light pollution here I am pretty excited about narrowband.

Thanks.

Richard

For cheap guiding this could work: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Point-Grey-Research-USB-2-0-Digital-Camera-/290761823982 - but you are limited with ~0,5sec exposures and not so high gain.

For cheap primary camera for a SCT you could check Brightstar Mammut with ICX429 CCD (cooled). As it's only 1/2" diagonal it can also work with f/3.3 SCT reducers.
