10 x stacked 10 second exposures, with 4 darks, 2 flats, no bias. ISO was set at 1000, Canon 5D Mk II (unmodified). No guiding. Urban location with severe light pollution. The seeing was SUPERB, and thankfully, the Moon did not rise until 2237 :)
ED80 scope.
Improving, slowly. Going to try through the 180 Mak tonight.

:D that is amazing when you consider how short your subs are. :)
May I suggest that you keep adding to this image. Capture 80 or 90 x 10secs. Fill your card!!!
I think you might do best to turn on your ICNR instead of taking separate darks. When I was at your stage, any sub I took that was under 1 minute, I found it more convenient and the images looked better. It also saves heaps of time when you are stacking. :)

Thank you :)
That was also without a drift alignment, so I guess my anal-retentive exactitude with a digital inclinometer and EXPENSIVE compass are paying off. I did try some 30 second exposures on NGC 253 and only MINOR trails (NO PEC or PAE either).
Will be interesting what the Mak delivers tonight. Some clouds, but still again, so fingers crossed.
