The region around Antares is amazing - it needs more exposure time I have had to push and NR quite a bit, this is 20 mins worth of jpeg at iso 1600 with no in camera NR, darks, flats or anything. I was out late and had a few beers so was not all that bright, then the mount flipped and I was to tired to set up for another run...looks ok at this small size.

Nice colours there, yellow and blue reflection nebulae.

Geeday John,
I tried imaging this nebulae some time ago and found it to be very very faint nebula, so you have done well to capture it.
regards
That's very nice John, it's one of my favourite areas too.
Nice colour.
Which scope did you use?

lovely! would a little more processing necessarily bring out the colours more? No criticism , just a Question!

That was with the little WO SD66, using the VC200L as the guidescope! It really was a pretty rough night for me, probably should not have been imaging so I was pleased to get some useable frames.

Houghy, I probably could push the saturation more but I will try to get a better set of calibrated RAWs to work from - no beer this time - and see what I can do with those.
BTW I sure do not mind criticism - in fact I welcome it - so please if you have a tip or view on an image share it.

Well done John
