A couple of 360 panoramas taken with my 5DmkII and 16-35mm f2.8L.
The first one was taken in Vaucluse in Sydney and the second one was taken in the Royal National Park just south of Sydney.
The settings were roughly the same so they really highlight the shocking light pollution in the city.

Thanks guys!
@Mike I've been doing pano shots for a while but it was your "Milky Way over the Bungle Bungles" shot that inspired me to shoot a pano of the night sky. That's a great image :-)
Nice pano's Hugh.
I don't know how you can do anything with that level of light pollution.
It must be so frustrating.

Thanks guys :-)
@Ric, Yeah it really is frustrating. Some nights I can't even see Epsilon Crux which is ridiculous as it means a couple of million Australians can't even see one of the stars on our flag!
That spot is the darkest place I've found anywhere near the city as it's right on the ocean. Also the actual spot I shoot from is behind those trees in the centre of the pic so It's completely sheltered from any stray light, plus, it's only a 5 minute drive and I can pop up there to test things out so I know what I'm doing when I visit the dark(ish) spot I've found in the Royal National Park which is over an hour away.
@Greg, Cool, should I repost or can a mod just move the whole thread?
