My first attempt at DSO

47TUC 100s @ 400iso through a M250 @ f/12. The night started out visual but I decided to have a quick go at DSLR imaging see how hard it is. All I can say is I cant even see the top of the mountain from where Im standing. Night was wash out by the moon glow.

:) Nice entry image.
When you're processing, try to keep an eye on the core of the glob, and if the stars start to burn out, back off. It's a balancing act with trying to draw out more of the outer stars and keeping the core still resolvable. :)
