The sky had been clear all day today in Adelaide, so I was looking forward to the evening. Even though there was some jetstream hanging around making the seeing rather soft, I still managed to get my first Saturn and Mars for a long while.
Both with a C11 at f/25 (as much as the seeing would take). Saturn is scaled 1.5x, Mars 2x.

well done Ivan. Both are pretty hard to image now and this is a good result, particularly the detail on Mars. regards ray

Well done Ivan, good job with both, it certainly was a beaut day and did look promising for Saturn, wasn't to bad for Jupiter this morning either.

Thanks Ray. I was pleased to see any detail on Mars. Certainly not much NPC left, but lots of haze in the southern Hellas.
Hi Trevor, thanks for the compliment. Now that we have had a bit of nice weather, I'm thinking it's about time I got motivated to get an early morning Jupiter.

Glad you liked it Matt. The disc is getting pretty small, but it is staying nice and high, so with decent seeing there is still some detail to be had!

Very good images, not so easy to get these results for Saturn and Mars for their sky locations.

Thanks Rob, seeing has been crud ever since!
Hi Giuseppe, thanks for the comment. Between Saturn getting lower, Mars getting smaller, and the horrible weather we have been having here in Adelaide, this may turn out to be my last images of both.
