Totally agree - Dr Who should always have an element of fun mixed with suspense. :)
Dinosaurs in Space was my kind of Dr Who! Even Blink (going back) had fun mixed in with some good suspense.

good 1st episode. Rory needs a little more backbone, i think...


the Doctor is seeming less invincible (although you know he will win) and often more scared in this season so far, perhaps more aware of his mortal coil.


not sure about the "reset" of the antagonists in this 1st episode. i kept thinking of the destruction of Vulcan in Star Trek- just a way to restart a storyline when new ideas were not forthcoming.



also, Blink = best Doctor Who episode of all time :thumbsup:
