This is my first attempt at Omega Centauri it was very low in the sky at the time and sky glow was an issue from the 95% moon and local street lights
but post processing helped a great deal. Looking forward to learning how to take better shots and having a dark clear night next time.


12” Meade LX200 f10
Sony Nex-3 Camera
10 x 20sec subs
ISO 1600
No guiding (I don’t have a guider) just standard Alt/Az mount tracking
Stacked in DSS
Processed in Photo paint
