Oz magazines

hi people
I'm over here for a while from the uk and was wondering if anyone can tell me of astro mags for southern skies. I've bought aust skies and scopes (good mag) but am i right in thinking its a bi-monthly publication? i've got my wife sending me my monthly subscrition of sky at night but while its a good read, it doesn't really relate to what i might see.thanks for taking the time to read this post:thanx:

That's right, Sky and Tel only comes out every couple of months.
Australia, having such a small population, it really isn't viable for them to put it out more often. :(
I get more than enough astro fix on Face Book. Subscribing to updates from all the big obs and the space agencies. :)

'Astronomy Now' is available here, though you might want an online subscription as the air-mail, up-to-date version is about $20 per.
I find their southern sky atlas much better than AS&Ts
